Your role at ACA Group

As a Mobile Developer, you will have the following responsibilities:

React Native

You design and develop the mobile apps that we build in React Native for our customers. These are both custom projects and our own solutions.

Coach

You coach a team of React Native developers who work on multiple projects; You manage them in terms of architecture, UX, technical quality, distribution and our approach in general.

Mobile Passion

You closely follow the world of mobile apps and you help guide the Mobile Business Unit in terms of new mobile opportunities, challenges and changes. You align this across the teams (e.g. Flutter teams)

Pre-sales

You participate in pre-sales activities; e.g. giving presentations to customers, making estimates and drawing up an architecture.

Face of the team

You are the face of the Mobile Business Unit; you write blog posts, give talks, webinars, etc.

Hybrid

You work physically with the team in our office in Hasselt 2 days a week. The other days you work from home or from our offices in Hasselt, Antwerp or Ghent. You are also prepared to occasionally visit a customer location for consultation.

Teamwork

Hard skills

  • You have at least 5 years of experience building mobile apps in React Native. In addition, experience with Kotlin & Swift (Native modules), Bitrise and Firebase is a plus.
  • You have an eye for quality; usability, performance, maintainability, security.

Soft skills

  • You communicate fluently and with a positive attitude. You know how to convey your ideas clearly to the team and clients.
  • You are flexible and can effortlessly oversee and supervise multiple projects.
