Full Stack at ACA

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable components, visualizations, and integrations for digital experience and integrated portals. With such platforms, users can manage and present content and information in a personalized way, such as in a customer portal, intranet, website, and much more.

You will build and maintain these solutions using the latest technologies, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Of course, you won't be alone: you will work together with other passionate team members who are dedicated to delivering high-quality results. Along with an analyst, team lead, UI designer, UX designer, or architect, you will design and outline these solutions.

Your role at ACA Group

You will have the following responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable components, visualizations, and integrations

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Collaborate with team members to achieve high-quality results.

Hard skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
  • 3+ years of experience as a developer.
  • Experience with DXP, CMS, and portals.
  • Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Proficient knowledge of Java.
  • Experience with various technologies such as Spring (Boot), JPA/Hibernate, JSPs, Servlets, JUnit,
  • Tomcat, SQL, SOAP, and REST.
  • Experience with Javascript (AJAX, jQuery, TypeScript, Angular, React), HTML, and CSS.

Soft skills

  • Innovation and change don't scare you. By always using the latest tools and technologies, you can develop highly scalable and reliable applications.
  • You are not only a team player, but also like to join events that bring us all together. From team sports to after work drinks: you know how to have fun. 😉
  • You have an analytical mind, a keen eye for detail, and a nose for quality.
  • You want to work in a no-nonsense culture, with plenty of room for personal growth and initiatives.
  • You are someone who enjoys being in contact with the client and can easily put yourself in their shoes.

Bonus skills

Do you have even more to offer? These skills count as a plus:

  • Docker, Kubernetes.
  • General knowledge of Security concepts
  • OSGi, Felix.
  • Continuous Integration (Maven, Git, Jenkins).
  • Agile, Extreme Programming, Test-Driven Development.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.
