Challenge

Renson needed seamless, user-friendly mobile apps to control their advanced patio covers, awnings, lighting and ventilation systems. The app needed to handle different hardware configurations, network inconsistencies and adapt quickly to critical needs such as CO₂ monitoring during the pandemic.

Solution

ACA Group developed a robust backend and app architecture with a self-updating detection mechanism and hardware configuration. For the Sense app, they delivered CO₂ monitoring features in just two weeks to meet pandemic-driven requirements, and ensured that users experienced smooth functionality on Android and iOS.
